Migraines are severe, debilitating headaches that can cause nausea, dizziness and sensitivity to light and certain sounds. If you’re able to figure out what triggers a migraine, you may be able to prevent one. Here are some common causes:
Stress.Some foods, including anything fried or fatty, some meats, cheese, chocolate, ice cream, aspartame or anything cooked in MSG.Skipping a meal.Consuming too much caffeine.Smoking.Changes in the weather.Changes in hormone levels, including menstruation.Getting too much or not enough sleep, or a change in sleep schedule.
