Basically, a Mudra is a mystical hand gesture which helps to regulate body static currents and energy flow which also work as pressure points, reflex zones and deep meridian zones.

Performing a mudra ultimately affects the body at not only the physical level but also on the mental and spiritual planes.

Technique used for Apan Vayu Mudra:

Bend your index finger and let its tip touch the ball of your thumb. At the same time, let the tips of the middle finger and ring finger touch the tip of the thumb. Extend your little finger.

Do this with each hand. Those people suffering from cardiac problems should do Apan Vayu mudra for 15-45 minutes daily as per severity of the disease.

This Mudra can be done anywhere and at anytime in any position too. It will surely help to relieve chest pain immediately if done during cardiac emergencies like chest pain.
