EA Sports has released an innovative new EA Sports Active a cool new visual medium that provides with some cool fitness workouts plus gives on-screen, real-time feedback on the user’s workout!

It has been developed by EA in collaboration with Bob Greene, a renowned exercise physiologist and author who also happens to be Oprah’s personal trainer. EA Sports Active is especially targeted towards women seeking effective workouts.

“One of the most frequent questions I am asked is how to get fit at home – especially from busy moms. EA SPORTS Active provides a fun and effective workout that targets your upper body, lower body, and gets your heart pumping in just 20 minutes a day,” said Greene.

“It’s a great way to get moving when you can’t get outside or you only have a short amount of time at home. In addition, I like the variety of exercises that it provides – one of the many reasons it has earned the Best Life seal of approval.”

EA Sports Active features that a wide number of various activities for both, the upper and the lower body plus workouts for the cardio.

The game comes bundled with two specially designed leg-straps which hold the Nunchuk controller. The Nunchuk and the leg straps together keep a track of the lower body movement plus the resistance band that comes along supports many upper body strength training exercises.

EA Sports Active is under development and will be made available at an MSRP of $59.99.
