According to the founders of ScientificMatch, this web site is the first service to use its DNA matching to link somebody to their perfect match.
The service asks its members to submit a DNA sample, and then examines it to compute their ideal partner. The DNA sample is obtained via a very simple test which involves a saliva swab.
In analyzing the use of DNA, the immune system genes would identify compatible matches from people with different immune systems.
“A natural odor you’ll love, with whom you’d have healthier children and a more satisfying sex life. The fact is, we love how other people smell when their immune systems are different from ours – they smell sexier,” the company said.
Members are charged around 1000 pounds for using this service and will also be asked to fill out a questionnaire on their “fundamental, core values” so they can be matched to people who share their beliefs, a process the company equates to “soul matching, or values matching”.
As of now, this service has been officially launched in Boston in the USA.
